Although the company itself has only been around ten years, Thaitsuki Nihonto's roots can be traced back over 200 years. It was back in 2001 that the Sivarat family founded Thaitsuki Nihonto, and already they have become one of the most well-respected names in samurai swords. It's no wonder, considering the family had been taught the secrets of sword making by actual Samurai warriors centuries ago. These blades were never before available to the public, as the family had been forging Japanese swords only for select collectors and martial artists in their native country of Japan and other areas in Asia.

Thaitsuki Nihonto has not compromised on quality to bring their swords to the masses. The use the same traditional methods and materials that have been utilized by the family for centuries. This is why no two Thaitsuki swords are ever exactly alike. These blades are made from folded high carbon steel.

They have bent Thaitsuki blades more than 45 degrees and it didn't break, chip or even lose its form.
